Informations/staff
The Museum is located in the historical centre of the city of Bolzano, at a distance of only a few hundred meters from the railway station. It can be reached by bus and taxi.
Out-of-town visitors who come to the city by car can exit from the Brenner Highway (A22) at Bolzano North or Bolzano South. The city can also be reached by way of state highway SS 12 (northward from Trento or southward from the Brenner Pass) and as well by way of state highway SS 38 (from Merano and the Resia Pass).
Automobiles can be parked at the garages in Via Mayr-Nusser, Piazza Walther, Via Alto Adige, and also in metered parking zones (marked blue).

The museum will be closed for exhibition change from 7th to 25th May, 2007
From September 3rd, 2007 Museion's exhibitions will stop in its building of via Sernesi until the opening of the new Museion of via Dante in spring 2008.

The MuseumCard allows you to enter five museums in Bozen, as well as Runkelstein Castle at a reduced price, and to have a guided visit of the town with a special discount. It has one year validity and can be requested at the Tourists Office, at all the museums in Bozen, and at Runkelstein Castle.
